Drawing from a palette enriched by diverse experiences, Karen Devane (neé Graham) is a Greystones born, Waterford based artist whose watercolour and ink creations blend the subtlety of life's moments with bursts of neon vibrancy. Her subjects - people, animals, and nature - come alive with movement and texture, reflecting her keen eve for beauty in the commonplace.
Her love for art, nurtured during her Art History studies at University College Dublin, was honed across amateur painting courses in Dublin, Waterford, and Florida, USA.
Yet, Karen's artistry is not limited to academic pursuit. Her background as a hospital nurse infused in her work a deep appreciation of life's fragility and resilience, transforming her pieces into narratives of the human spirit.
